Where Your Next Chapter Begins

Legacy Village is a private, locally owned retirement community tucked into the pine country of Tattnall County. Our ten brick duplexes offer the quiet dignity of country living without sacrificing the comforts, the friendships, or the independence that make a house feel like home.

Every home is yours to live in fully: cook the family recipes, host the grandchildren, tend the garden, sit on your own front porch as the sun goes down. No buy-in, no institutional schedules. Just a 1-year lease, a warm welcome, and a community built around respect for who you are and where you've been.

Life at Legacy Village

A Small Community with Big Heart

Neighbors Who Become Family

At Legacy Village, life happens on the porch, in the garden, and around the kitchen table. Our residents tend shared vegetable beds, walk Birdhouse Lane in the evening, and gather for birthdays and Sunday suppers.

You set your own schedule. You invite your own guests. You keep your own traditions. And when you want company, good neighbors are just a few steps away.

"This isn't just a place to live. It's a place to keep living."

Meet the Owners

Danny & Beverly Covington

Founders · Locally Owned & Operated

Legacy Village was built by the Covington family to honor the seniors who raised us, fed us, and taught us what home is supposed to feel like. Danny and Beverly live and work in this community, and every decision about Legacy Village passes through their hands.

We wanted a place where our own parents would be proud to live. That's the standard we hold ourselves to every day.

They believe retirement should be a celebration, not a compromise. That belief shapes every home we build and every neighbor we welcome.
